This was my first view of the Nathaniel B. Palmer. Click image for much larger version. See truck in photo for scale. And it is actually quite a bit bigger than it seems here, because the bow is hidden by the front tower, and the pier is quite high off the water. There are two or three floors below the pier out of sight.
Most of my posts to this blog will be sent from the small crows nent at the front of the image above the pilot room. Not the super tall skinny structure, but the one in front of it, with the two white antennae on it. That is where I can get signal on the Iridium phone and still be inside with my computer.
